Q. Who can apply?

Freelance creators from any country. XmasFantasy is multicultural by design — the team is built across borders.

Q. What language do you work in?

English is the shared working language for briefs, feedback and contracts. Japanese source material is provided with translations; Italian is used for the IT edition.

Q. Do I need to be a Christian?

No. We warmly welcome artists from Christian backgrounds, and equally every creator who respects the project's values — hope, light and honest craftsmanship.

Q. How are contracts and payments handled?

Generally through established international freelance and outsourcing platforms: milestone payments, escrow and reviews. XmasFantasy directs the creative work; the platform handles the paperwork and payment protection.

Q. Is this a job or freelance?

Freelance, per deliverable (per chapter, per banner set, per translation batch). Long-term, repeat collaboration is exactly what we hope for — but you stay independent.

Q. What about deadlines?

Deadline-based, not clock-based. We agree on realistic dates that respect your other clients, then we keep them.

Q. What should my portfolio show?

Finished work in your specialty. For manga artists: sequential pages. For designers: shipped identities or campaigns. Quality over quantity — 3 great pieces beat 30 average ones.

Q. Who owns the work?

Deliverables for XmasFantasy are contracted work-for-hire under the platform contract; contributors are credited in each chapter unless you prefer otherwise.

Q. Where can I read XmasFantasy?

Free in our Reading Room and on the official site xmasfantasy.org. The primary audience is the EU, starting with Italy.

Q. What is the Creators' Community?

A Japanese-language corner of this site where readers post their own manga and illustrations (創作ひろば). It is separate from paid production work — but a lovely place to be.
